Moving My Blog

I am moving my blog to a new blog I created called The Little Blogspot. thelittleblogspot.blogspot.com

I started up some little classes for preschoolers and wanted to blog about that stuff so I decided to consolidate and put both vinyl project ideas, preschool craft ideas, and who knows what else on a new blog. Hope you'll join me!

I have tons of vinyl and preschool crafts to post so hopefully I'll be able to find the time to share with you.

Thanks for following me!!

For the love of Scrapbook Paper

I don't know what it is about scrapbook paper...but I just love it so much! I have tons of it! More than I could ever use...but it's just sooo cute! Today I made these blocks just because I loved the paper so much! I have been meaning to make some 4th of July blocks, but I've been having trouble finding the perfect paper to use. Isn't that just how it is? I can always find what I don't need and can never find what I want when I'm looking for it! Anyway, these adorable papers have been sitting in my craft room begging me to use them. I look at them every day so finally today I pulled them out and made these crazy summer blocks. I think they are super cute sitting in my little entry zone. I am a huge fan of the lime green vinyl! I got 2x6 boards at Home Depot then cut them to be 6, 7, & 8 inches tall. Last night, I paid my 2 oldest boys and their cousin to sand them for me. I think sanding them is the worst part. I painted them real red and then modge podged the paper on. Maybe the modge podging is the 2nd worst part...but the end result was good! My house is decorated very simply and fairly neutral, but I love adding little bits of color here and there.

Adorable personalized frames

These are fun & easy to make! Just buy an unfinished frame at the craft store and decoupage with your favorite scrapbook paper.

Family Dinner Chore Board

I have this cute board hanging in my kitchen. The kid's always know what their chore is at dinner time! I love it! The board measures 9"x25". This font is Lima Bean, but you can choose another font if you would like to. The board is black with cream lettering. This is one of my absolute favorites! I've had lots of people ask about it...so let me know...I'd love to help you make one!!

The Little Letter Shop is back!

Hi Everyone! As many of you know, I took a much needed break from The Little Letter Shop to have a baby! My fifth child...an adorable baby girl named Brylee! I am finally getting back into the swing of things and ready to jump back in. Soon, I will be posting some super fun products to "add a little bit of whimsy and little bit of charm" to your home and children's rooms. As life is crazy, it may take a while to get all the info I want on this blog, but in the meantime if you would like to order vinyl lettering please email me at thelittlelettershop@cox.net or comment on my blog. I will be posting fonts and prices soon.
